QUESTIONS

Shichi-Go-San FAQ

Does the shoot need to take place during the limited-time offer period?

You must agree on a shoot date and pay the deposit within the booking period to confirm your reservation. There is no deadline for the shoot date. The booking period is 1 November to 30 November 2026. The limited-time package cannot be combined with the early-bird discount.

Can the 2-sibling package be used on different days?

The limited-time package for 2 children requires both children to be photographed on the same day, in the same session. The regular package is for 1 child.

Can parents wear kimono too?

Parents can rent kimono at half the regular price. Hairstyling and makeup are charged separately, except that under the limited-time package for 1 child, the mother receives complimentary hairstyling only if she rents a kimono. This benefit does not apply if she wears regular clothing. Makeup remains an additional charge.

What is the difference between studio and on-location photography?

For an on-location shoot, you get ready at SEQYA and receive return transfers to the shoot location. Studio photography costs an additional S$100; you meet at the studio and get ready there. Both include a Japanese photography attendant, at least 80 digital photos and an album.

Is there a charge for consultations or fittings?

Consultations are free. A fitting, where you try on outfits before choosing, costs S$30 per group, including tax. This fee is non-refundable if you attend only a fitting and do not make a booking. If you book, it counts towards your booking deposit.

Is the deposit charged on top of the photography fee?

For regular, early-bird and limited-time packages, the S$100 deposit is part of the photography fee, not an additional charge. If you have already paid the S$30 fitting fee, the additional payment when booking is S$70. Your remaining balance is the total photography fee minus S$100. Once your booking is confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable regardless of when you cancel.
